I've been using this Pharmacy for over 10 years but recently it has changed and not for the better. I've had to argue with them and complain about the staff, but moreover I've stood by and witnessed a number of other patients doing the same. One day at the drive through window, I waited for over 15 minutes while a fed up woman stood outside her car arguing with the employee at the window about the Catch 22 like runaround she was getting in regards to the transfer of her prescriptions from a pharmacy across town. This is not what someone getting a prescription needs. They are sick, ill, debilitated, disabled or in pain, or they have someone else at home that is. They don't need an extra helping of BS as they attempt to get their meds. Tonight my sister went there to pick up post procedure pain meds and they insisted the prescription phoned in by my was a refill for a medication I get from a completely different doctor. After arguing with them, I had to have my doctor paged again and then my sister went back to pick up the right medication with a side of attitude from the clerk, when it was completely their screw up. This is a complaint about your store on 60th and Brown Deer. Within the last 6 months the service has declined. Never enough staff, phones are not answered at all and always a line when there is only 2 or 3 customers. This is unacceptable, so I hope there is still a District Manager for the stores who will actually do something about this. You have a competitor next door, Walmart, so I would think you would want to keep your business. ...read more

Last week, I brought in a prescription for Lorazepam 1mg #60. I told the pharmacy that since I have to pay for my prescription, I wanted to only get #30 and pick the remainder later. I paid $15.03. When I arrived home, I looked at the bottle and counted the pills and there was only 15, not the 30 I had requested and paid for. I contacted the pharmacy(E. Capitol)and told them the situation and they said they would get back to me. It has been three days and I have not received a call nor email regarding this situation and I had spoken to the Pharmacist at the time I called to report this error. I find this HIGHLY unacceptable! I want to know what happened to the missing pills(15) ASAP! Nothing seems to have been done nor anyone advising me of any information regarding this error! Since I am not receiving any responses regarding this error, I am contacting your office for resolution. I have also contacted an attorney regarding this situation and his assistance in getting this situation resolved. My attorney will be investigating this situation as well as other people having problems getting their prescriptions filled correctly. I will also be transferring ALL my prescriptions(those on file as well as future ones)to another pharmacy that is NOT associated with Walgreens. Prior to this incident, I had faith that my previous prescriptions were filled correctly but now I have grave thoughts. I am wondering NOW if any of my other prescriptions have been filled correctly. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! And I want resolution to this error was done at the Walgreens store on E. Capitol. Last but not least, I will be sending out messages to various social medias to warn other people of what happened to me and to warn them about mismanaging of prescriptions at Walgreens and to check other pharmacies instead.
