I have been going to rufus king midde school since it opened. This is my second year and I've liked it every since because the teachers there are really nice and sometimes strict because the kids don't do what they are supposed to do. I have learned a lot these two years and I know I will become a success and a good rolemodel. ...read more

If you are a parent that's concerned about your child's education, make sure you visit the school during school hours while kids are there. You'll be shocked to find a complete lack of organization and control in the classrooms. My daughter spent two horrible months at this school. There were fights in the classroom, hallways and after school. I spent 4 1/2 hours in line during parent teacher conferences which was an experience to say the least. One of the Math teachers quit during the first two weeks of school and only had substitutes. When we left they had 5 different Math teachers in two months and still didn't have a permanent teacher. So, if you're considering this school please visit all the classrooms at various times. Don't be fooled by all the IB talk.
