The East Side Club
By StacyJo February 26, 2013
I took my husband and daughter their this past weekend. We actually live in Oregon and have eaten at DeBroux several times. Usually they have okay/good food. Unfortunately, their brunch we found to be simply awful. The corned beef was from a can. The scrambled eggs were sitting in water. The hash browns were full of oil. We were very disappointment in the variety of dishes available to choose from. We had to "shush" our 6 year old daughter because she kept saying (quite loudly) "I want the old place back." We told her that we did too but that we would have to wait and talk about it in the car. She left the brunch hungry. We noticed that the parking lot at ESC was pretty empty as well. So we were wondering if the new format was even going to last. It's only been a few weeks and it seems the amount of regulars has been greatly reduced. I know that we will not be going back. I understand change can be a good thing, but your new choice of new caters was not. ...read more

Rob has to be one of the best instructors in town, if not in this area. The man knows how to play and teach and is not the type of teacher to tell you to wait to learn a peice. He breaks it down for you and encourages you. I could not have asked for a better teacher who has helped me go alot farther in playing the bass than I thought was possible. Lessons are enjoyable because he jams out with you and you feel like you are learning from your best friend while you hang out for awhile but at the same time learning and fine tuning your skills. I couldn't say enough about him, and wouldln't know where to end in my referral. If you want to play the bass, take lessons from Rob. That's all you need to do. - JK ...read more
