Lomira is a part of the Dodge County region of Wisconsin known for its marshy areas and its location at the junction of State Highways 49, 67, and 175. Major attractions include Kountry Korners and The Shedd LLC. Each year in the summer season there is the Lomira Corn Roast. Among the biggest companies in Lomira are M & I Bank, and Christensen Julie AB. The biggest schools here are Lomira Elementary School and Lomira High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Lomira is Olde Town Beverage & Pizza. The town was once named Springfield but was renamed in 1849.
