Ever think of bubble wrap as art?
Art is a wonderful thing isn't it? Whether your a fan of paintings or photography, you can take a boring plain wall and turn it into a big splash of color. I recently found the website of artist Bradley Hart, he made new meaning of the phrase-"art for your wall". Using bubble wrap, he injects each air bubble with acrylic paint. Let me say that once more-he injects each and every single air bubble with paint. I'm not sure how much time it takes him to finish his art, but the end results are pretty interesting. His inspiration came from learning about the origins of bubble wrap as he explains this on his website. When my kids were younger they always liked to pop the bubbles. Other than using it for shipping items, I never gave bubble wrap much thought. Certainly never considered it to be an art media. The Cowboy Rides Away in 2013
George Harvey Strait or some know him as "King of Country"; final tour days are approaching fast. The sharp dressed country singer announced on Sept.26, 2012 that he was retiring from touring. Many don't realize the milestones George Straight has accomplished in his music career. He's only a third to Elvis and The Beatles with the most gold and platinum albums in the history of music and currently is two away from passing them.(wikipedia) While he assured us that he is not retiring for good, he will no longer be doing concert tours. He'll continue writing songs and recording albums, and make appearances here and there, but no more concerts. If your a George Strait fan and want to see him in concert, now's your chance. His "Cowboy Rides Away" tour with Martina McBride is coming to the end of the trail pretty darn fast. His tickets are selling out and he's on the top ten concert sellers. It's been said that his tour has been filled with him singing all his classics, giving thanks to the fans and an emotional good bye. I hope to see his final tour, I have two favorites by him, "The Cowboy Rides Away" and "Ocean Front Property".
