This review is more for the daycare at Divine Savior vs the school. My son attended daycare here once a week. This is part of their philosophy statement: "The environment nurtures and accomodates the needs of children on an individual and group basis providing a solid foundation for children to build upon. " My son is very strong willed. We had a discussion before he was enrolled here about this, he of course displayed this at the daycare. The "teacher" was very distraught about it. My husband and I had meeting with her about it, wanting our child to succeed. I have a book that has been very useful in teaching him - i brought it with us to explain what works for us in our home. NEVER once did she look at it, touch it or acknowledge it. Things continued on a downward spiral. As a result, because she had no interest in helping him (in my opinion singling him out) she asked him to leave. It is their JOB to deal with children - and part of their philosophy.
