We stayed at White Manor this summer and loved it. The lake was calm and greaat fishing. the kids loved the swim beach and dock and never got swimmers itch. The owners were there to help the little ones get their fish off the dock and we even got a visit from the otters. We will be back thanks. ...read more

The grounds are not flat, there are so many tree roots and divots you are tripping over youreself. The large sandy play area was a joke. The swimming area was nothing but long weeds. You are not allowed to feed the ducks, the owner even threw rocks at a mamma duck and her babies because they were in the swimming area. There are some very cute chipmunks running around but be careful of the cats because they are on a strickt rodent diet, but they say to enjoy the wildlife. ...read more

If your idea of lake front property is an acre of foot deep stinky, muddy bog, then by all means, enjoy. Get used to your dirty cabin though, because after the regular townie drunks leave, the bar closes, despite posted hours. Oh, and if you have babies or dogs, it is an extra $50 per.
