Fairwater is a part of the Fond du Lac County region/metro area of Wisconsin known for its Grand River Valley Museum and EAA AirVenture Museum. Major attractions include Bay view Motel & Resort and Rock River Country Club. Each year in the summer season there is the Fond du Lac County Fair.
