A while back I emailed your HQ in Milwaukee. My complaint was about the lack of checkers. It was terrible, people leaving their carts that were loaded with groceries and walking out of the store. Shortly after that I received a call from Chuck the store manager telling me that he was new on the job and my complaint would be addressed. Well things were pretty good for quite some time. I went shopping there this morning around 9:30am, completed my shopping around 10:10am. Went to check out and low and behold there were only two checkouts. Both lines were backed up for quite a ways. While waiting to get checked out I saw at least 6 people walk in the store, looked at the lines and leave. The gentleman behind me said had he known he was going to run into this situation he would have went to Trig's. I don't know if management is trying to save money or what, but most likely that will be the last time I will shop at Pick & Save in Eagle River. It's to bad as it's a very nice store. ...read more

This grocery store has some terrific sales. However, be prepared to deal with a grouchy employee on every visit. They will tell you why they don't enjoy working there. It makes me think about shopping elsewhere. Yet, the sales get me back in every time! ...read more
