I bought a pair of glasses from Shopko Optical and then watched as the lenses deteriorated from simple everyday use. They became horribly scratched even though I was very careful every time I cleaned them. Keep in mind I've been wearing glasses since I was four years old and I am well aware of how to clean and maintain eyewear. No matter how careful I am with these glasses they become worse and worse with each passing day. The frames are also not holding up and the finish is coming off no matter what I do. I went back to Shopko and they very nicely told me too bad. I didn't by the cheapest or the most expensive item they had but something middle of the road. I would never go back to Shopko for anything. I bought glasses at Wal-Mart the previous pair to these and they were far superior and I'm no fan of Wal-Mart either but the glasses I bought there were cheaper and lasted a lot longer. I also got a more comprehensive eye exam at Wal-Mart than Shopko too. Shopko didn't even dilate my eyes to look in them and check for eye damage like Wal-Mart did. I'm not endorsing Wal-Mart but I am warning everyone NOT TO GET YOUR EYEWEAR FROM SHOPKO!! ...read more
