Darlington is located in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin. It is county seat of Lafayette and has a downtown district that is registered as a National Historic District. Major attractions include the Lafayette Historical Society Museum on main street and the M60 A3 military tank that is on display at the American Legion. Each year in the summer there are stock car races on Friday nights. The town hosts the Darlington Canoe Festival each June along the Pecatonica River. Among the many companies in Darlington are Darlington Motors and Scott Nettum Dentistry. There is a Christian school as well as a public school system in Darlington. One of the best places to visit when you are in Darlington is the Rich Glo Antique Shop. Famous persons from Darlington include the major league baseball player Charlie Dougherty.
