Karate America

This is an amazing studio. I got my black belt here after only two and a half years of training (they're accommodating for every student). The instructors are all skilled at karate and fun to just talk to after class. The motivating, 'can do' attitude really is what keeps me coming back after all of these years. Everyone is friendly, encouraging, and accommodating. The real focus of this studio is on building leadership and life skills in the younger students and giving the adults a good workout while all the while having fun. If you ever want to try a different form of working out with encouraging peers, I recommend this studio! ...read more

J K Lee Taekwondo Black Belt Academy

5.0

By feelike18 at Citysearch

I attended a demo at J.K.Lee's Black Belt Academy a little over 2 years ago because my youngest daughter wanted to join her best friend in classes there. The whole family wanted to join but I didn't think I would be able to handle it because of several injuries I was nursing at the time. I was so wrong. They let me work at a pace I was comfortable with and within 6 months, I was pain free and loving it! Since joining I have lost over 20 lbs and three inches around my waist. I haven't felt this good since I was 18!\t\nI have found the other students to be friendly, courteous and helpful. The staff are friendly, accomodating and supportive, ready to help in any way they can. The instructors are skilled, knowledgable and patient, inspiring each student to do their best. The Founder, Grandmaster J. K. Lee is the real deal! He teaches traditional Tae Kwon Do and enhances it with the best modern techniques to make learning safe and fun. He believes in the positive changes Tae Kwon Do can make to the whole individual and the community.\t\nI love TaeKwonDo and everyone at J.K. Lee's who have made it such a wonderful experience. ...read more
