Moved into this facility in August 2013 with 8 show horses after extensive discussion and written agreement of services. Our horses were charged a higher rate than current boarders and investment was made in the property for individual turnouts. Agreement stated that monies would be refunded if paddocks not built in 6 months. Paddocks took well over 6 months. Additional charges began to appear on our statement for overage of shavings usage which appeared to be random. charges for NOT turning our horses out in lightening storms, -20 degree wind-chill. Protective turnout gear was routinely not put on as agreed. Regular maintenance of the arena was not done as agreed which led to hard and uneven footing and several lameness issues for several boarders. Hay contaminated with Black patch was fed our horses which led to slobbers. Even after identified and advised by our vet to discontinue feeding, facility continued to do so. Electrical issues occurred in the water troughs in turnout which was shocking the horses when they drank. One horse refused to drink from the waterer after corrected and owner was charged to put out a bucket daily. There are several facilities in the area that provide high quality and dependable service, this just isn't one of them. ...read more

First of all, the lifetime guarantee is meaningless. Our roof was installed in 08/2013. By September we had leaks in the roof. I called the owner (Paul Perkins), my wife called the owner, we emailed over and over again. Most of the time, with no response. On a few occasions he actually picked up the phone and promised to come out.... nothing. By January 2014 we now had leaks in 4 different places. Again email and call over and over again with more failed promises to come out. In March he finally says he'll have to wait for the snow to melt. omg! So from September 2013, it wasn't until May of 2014 that he finally came out to the house. Then he said the leak by the fireplace wasn't related to his work... I gave him the benefit of the doubt. What about the other 3 leaks... OK, now he says he'll have to wait until it rains so he can see it leaking. So we call when it's raining, no response; keep calling and eventually excuses and more un-kept promises again. Fast forward to August of 2015, my wife decides to call him every day until she gets a response... nothing until she tries different phone numbers to call from and eventually she gets him on the phone. He says he will come out next week... nothing, so she keeps calling and by this time she is pretty upset. She manages to get him on the phone again and she expresses her frustration and he hangs up... it's not like she was swearing at him or anything she was just understandably upset. So then I send him an email and get a response about a week later. I told him I will take him to court if he doesn't get this resolved right away.... in response he essentially said "go ahead" and that my wife was treating him like a child and I can forget about him ever coming out to fix the roof... this is one year into trying to get the leaks fixed on the roof and he is upset with us because we were upset with him. omg! This is the strangest thing I've ever run into with a business. I still have the emails. Honestly I have on doubt that we called him more than 100 times over the passed year. Really sad situation. We spent $20,000 on this new roof and we will have to get someone else to fix it. The lifetime guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. Feel free to email me at ronkempka@yahoo.com and I'll send you the emails that the owner of this company sent to me. ...read more

As Spring arrives, it is a beautiful time to "plant our thoughts and wishes", so that they may "bloom".  Walking the labyrinth on the property is a great way to do this.  The snow has melted and left a beautiful stone labyrinth - open to everyone during daylight hours! ...read more
