On my way to a lunch driving on I-5 South, my wife and I saw one of his trucks dropping gravel on the road and some getting caught in the wind on his uncovered load. Before we could change lanes we saw a rock fly off the load and hit the top corner of my windshield. Instantly a crack shot out about 9 inches in front of me. Normally with reputable and honest companies, A simple call to the business with the complaint and a story that checks out will get you a quick follow up and normally a windshield repair. In this situation, we called in, gave them the time that it happened, the direction the truck was going (I-5 South past 179th exit) and the licence plate number of the truck with the loose load and they told us they would call us back in a minute after they spoke with the driver. hours later we decide to stop waiting and called back.
