I've searched many a rescue and was very impressed with the quick response I got with NW Bird Rescue. We're talkin' same day! Not only did Chris find me a great match, but he also gave me a fantastic deal on a cage, AND brought some treats, food, and a play stand for the bird. He was patient while showing me how to handle my new addition, as well as gave me a great reference to a place called Parrot Perch where they gave me a great deal on a trim for my new lil guy. I bought a Amazon Parrot from a man up north, The cage that the Amazon was in was old and rusty. The bottom of the cage was so rusted that there was holes at the bottom. Concerned about his safety and health, I began to search for a new cage for my feathered friend. I was on a budget and could not afford much. I discovered that the Birdman, Chris lived just down the way from me. He sold me a beautiful cage and a awesome step ladder bird perch, both for only 130.00. How perfect was that!! Two for one deal, within my budget. He also even gave me three of his stainless steel bowls for the cage. I could not think of a better place to purchase a cage from. The money I gave Chris for the cage/perch went to a wonderful cause. Thank you Chris for taking the time in your busy schedule to meet with us. Even though he had so much going on, he took his time and talked with us and we never felt rushed. He showed us a few of his birds and we got to see some baby ducks. I would highly recommend Chris The Birdman to anyone. What a very nice man, just wonderful to talk to and he is so knowledgeable about birds. What a great experience!
