February is Heart Health Month. Yes, I know I’ve paraphrased, but I like putting the focus on the positive rather than the negative: health, something we all want and are at least willing work toward; versus disease, an ethereal term that excites fear and visions of death that we want to run from. I’ve found that if I take things one step at a time, on my own schedule, I am more likely to accomplish my goal. I’ve seen this same trait throughout my life in my friends, my Tupperware customers, and many other people I’ve met along the way. I’ve learned to present information in a non-frightening and non-overwhelming way so that the project, or goal at hand is more likely to be at least started. One of the many reasons I enjoy being associated with Tupperware is that they also present information from a positive viewpoint. You will see that in this month’s sales promotions—eating healthier can be easy and economical.
