What are you looking for?

I've been doing a lot of thinking over the last few days--evaluating what I've been doing for my business over the last few months since the surgery.... realized I've been focused only on parties and sales. That only works just so long and then it becomes oddly unsatisfying. Why? because it is purely self-serving. Tupperware isn't that kind of business--and I'm not that kind of person! So, it's time for a new focus: sharing this opportunity! What are you looking for? What do you see as the number one need for your family, or for yourself? These are questions I was struggling to answer when Tupperware as a business opportunity found me. Here's the short version of my story from my webpage: ******When I started my Tupperware career in 1983, I was a very hard working "stay at home" Mom of 4 children. Gardening meant a vegetable garden that fed us year 'round--no time for pretty flowers! My baby was just 9 months old (the only girl); I knew we needed more, but I wasnotgoing to work out of the home again!I met an outstanding Tupperware Consultant at my girlfriend's party. She said she thought I'd be a good consultant! My sons thought it would be OK, so I decided to try it...I LIKED IT!  In just a few months (4, actually), I was providing more for my family in less time and with less work than with anything else I'd ever tried!I also had earned enough to pay for us to visit family that Christmas!  A lot has happened in my life and the lives of my children in those years [28 1/2 now], but through it all, I was able to continue my career without worry. ... The best part (in my opinion) is the friends I have made! Even my children made friends!  Tupperware has been the Perfect Fit for me. It may be the Perfect Fit for you, too! What have you got to loose? ****** Does something in my story connect with you? Even if my story doesn't match yours, I hope it gives you an idea of how Tupperware as your home-based business could be of benefit to your finanacial situation, offer you a fulfilment you've been desiring, or just be an outlet for some fun! I love to share information about Tupperware as a business and how it may be of benefit to your situation! You can call me anytime to ask questions, email me, or come to our monthly Guest Event! All non-threatening, non-pushing; designed to give you answers and let you make up your own mind. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon! HEART HEALTHY SAVINGS AND RECIPES!

February is Heart Health Month. Yes, I know I’ve paraphrased, but I like putting the focus on the positive rather than the negative: health, something we all want and are at least willing work toward; versus disease, an ethereal term that excites fear and visions of death that we want to run from.   I’ve found that if I take things one step at a time, on my own schedule, I am more likely to accomplish my goal. I’ve seen this same trait throughout my life in my friends, my Tupperware customers, and many other people I’ve met along the way. I’ve learned to present information in a non-frightening and non-overwhelming way so that the project, or goal at hand is more likely to be at least started. One of the many reasons I enjoy being associated with Tupperware is that they also present information from a positive viewpoint. You will see that in this month’s sales promotions—eating healthier can be easy and economical. Check out these Great Offers, and a really good, heart healthy 30 minute meal recipe for the Tupperwave Stack Cooking System. (Can you imagine preparing a meal for four and sitting down to eat it, together, in less than an hour?)   Top Layer: Cranberry Spiced Pears 2/3 cup cranberry juice cocktail 2 Tb grenadine syrup (optional) 1 x 2 in. piece stick cinnamon, broken 4 small pear peeled, halved and cored, or 16 oz can pear halves, drained Combine cranberry juice cocktail, grenadine syrup, and cinnamon. Place pears, cut side down, in sauce. Spoon sauce over each pear.   Middle Layer: Turkey Loaves 1 beaten egg 1 cup soft bread crumbs (1 slice) ½ cup chopped green pepper ¼ cup milk 1 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage ¼ tsp. garlic salt 1 lb. ground raw turkey ¼ cup bottled BBQ sauce Combine egg, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, milk, poultry seasoning, and garlic salt; add turkey and mix well. Shape mixture into 4 loaves. Arrange loaves around edge of the casserole   Bottom Layer: Curly Pasta with Spicy Red Sauce 4 oz spiral pasta (1-1/2 cups) 1 x 7-1/2 oz can tomatoes, cut up ¾ cup chicken broth 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tb dried parsley flakes ½ tsp. dried basil, crushed 1/8 tsp pepper and a dash of crushed red pepper Combine all ingredients   Stack all three casserole containers and place into the microwave. Cook uncovered on 100% power (high) for 25 to 30 minutes Stir pasta before serving and spoon sauce over the pears one more time. Serves 4                   Remember, my Merchant Circle Neighbors receive a special discount!Your Tupperlady, RosalieJ mytupperlady@my.tupperware.com www.my.tupperware.com/mytupperlady Please share this with everyone you know. ...read more
