SpoLang Foreign Language Academy

Language World Foreign Language Academy is an amazing school! We have all 5 of our children, ranging in age from 2-14, taking weekly classes. Our younger 2 take both spanish and German while the older 3 are taking only German. They have gained so much knowledge and skill, in both verbal and written form. Our 4 year old is actually reading German! They all enjoy going and we know they will be challenged in ways that aren't available in traditional settings. Christine has a keen understanding of developmentally appropriate learning and is very nurturing with the kids. She is creative and understands the need for a multisensory approach to learning. She uses songs, crafts, stories, and free play with younger students and has age/ability appropriate materials for the older students. My husband and I are so thankful that we found LWFLA and feel like are children are getting top notch instruction. Fun In The Sun

What a great day today at the center!  The weather was so nice the children were outside most of the day!  One class made boats then took them outside to see if their boats would float in the little wade pool!  Another group set up the sprinklers and just had fun!  Another group made rivers and lakes in the sand box and learned how water carves it's way through dirt and soil.  The best part is all the hidden learning in all this fun water play!  Two groups had field trips today!  The theme for this week is "Our Natural Resources" so the Pre- K group went to the Bowl&Pitcher; Park and went for a Hike.  They also picked up trash and we appalled to see how much litter careless people leave behind!  The other group just came back from the UDist. Foundation Fitness&Fun Camp!  What a blast they had... Thank you UDistrict Foundation for letting the kids come this week!  We hope you are having as much fun this summer as we are! ...read more
