If you are anything like me, and that in itself is a scary thought, you find yourself slipping back into old habits. Yes, I admit, I have slipped. With the change of seasons comes illness, gardening, spring cleaning, more activites with our friends, and, basically, life happens. So what does a person do? Well you get back in the saddle again. You renew your purpose, review your progress, and revamp your plan. I took the first babysteps today and threw an exercise routine into my mornings, started walking and doing situps. It's a beautiful day out there and with some good tunes playing I did a mile in about 20 minutes. Not bad for a rusty old girl :) I also reviewed my diet. Oh yes, I slipped up there big time!! Haven't had an Herbalife Shake all week and have found my caboose dragging by the end of the day. So I told my hubby last night I would be making those up again starting today. Decided I would be replacing my lunch and one of my snacks with them on days I am off and working days would be breakfast and a snack. And water, I needed to get back to drinking my water. I also noted I hadn't been visiting on my Merchant Circle either, no ads posted, no coupons and no blogs...I am hoping you are seeing the pattern here and that you can relate!! Bottom line, life DOES happen, it's what actions you take to keep your focus that matters. New Years Resolutions are great and you do really good in the beginning and then you wain, life gets busy, you lose focus. It's not that you failed your new years resolution, its just that you forgot to review, revamp, and renew! Periodically, like every couple of months, I have to ask myself, what was working what wasn't working and what can I do to get back in the saddle again... So, I ask you "what can YOU do to get back in the saddle again"???
