About Shelton, WA
Shelton, Wa., was known for being a small town. It is known for it's trees, and timber company. Simpson Timber Company, is located off of Puget Sound, on a bay called the Oakland Bay. Shelton now has a Wal Mart, and several fast food restaurants. There are some old cafe type restaurants, that make some of your not the same as usual, good food. Shelton High School, is known for it's basketball games. Shelton is north of Olympia, Wa., and west of Puget Sound. You can drive to Shelton through Olympia, Bremerton, or the ocean's Highway 101. It is always fun to go for a drive to Shelton. Either way you drive there, it is always a beautiful drive, or a good drive to get some good fresh air.
