Many years ago, I had a very unpleasant experience at a Nordstrom in southern CA. Needless to say, I didn't go back for many years. I REALLY wanted a pair of fall boots to wear with skirts and jeans and thought I had wide calves. By some miracle, my husband got Domi on the phone and explained what I wanted and he assured us he could get my into a pair of boots that day. We went in, found the shoe department in an uproar (1/2 yearly sale in full swing) but Domi found us a quiet spot, went to the stock room, came out with 5 or 6 pairs of boots and showed me how to get them on and off easily and explained that I didn't need wide calf boots after all! He ROCKS! We left with two great pairs of boots AND he shined up my dansko's while we decided which ones to purchase. He also made sure we were signed up for the points on a Nordstrom debit card and took extremely good care of us. Because of him, I will probably go back to Nordstrom from time to time.
