Dave Poletti & Associates

2.0

By Elizabeth C at Customer Lob

Dave Poletti Associates is the worst property manager I have ever encountered. They simply collect rent and let the building owners do whatever they want when repairs are necessary. They respond slowly and there seems to be no internal communication, so no one knows anything. In my case, it took 2 weeks after we signed the lease and moved in to receive access to the storage and laundry area (both pretty important when moving) despite notifying them of the problem (old key) within 2 hours of signing the lease. They have performed repairs to the building that leave exposed wood and insulation for months at a time, only returning to finish jobs after much prodding. In the middle of summer, it was decided our deck needed repairs. So they ripped half of it off and then didn't come back for a month, despite many emails and calls. And they treat you like are unreasonable for expecting repairs to be done promptly. They are mainly a commercial property management company and their business is very much geared towards that. I cannot speak to that, but do not expect them to do ANYTHING other than take your money. If we weren't moving states in a few months, I would be out of there the minute my lease is up. ...read more

RD House Real Estate & Property Management

By L S Parsons at Citysearch

Ricky D, I guess I should say Rd House team is what I needed. I inherited four apartment buildings when my late husband passed. I knew nothing about property management, building repairs or collecting rents. My husband was sick for months before he passed and everything just lapsed. I really didn ...read more

HGRB Services Launches " Team Work National!" (the 50 states)

There's no doubt that, all year round, homeowners and homerenters across America are victimized by some contractors or people under the guise of residential contractors. One of the goals of "Team Work National," is to extend our line up of associates in all 50 states .... not just in eight.  This is a national network where people from every state are exposed to the helpful homes services tips we offer. But, it's sort of grievous when you've got someone in Louisiana, having issues specific to his/her state, but no one there to guide this person [if even via e-mail] to effective remedial and preventative action. Each state has it's own special mix of affairs.  Its people more readily identify with its own.  There's a special bond.  In a disaster, when people need to re-build, if given the choice, they'd prefer someone representative of their state. Still, there are far too few of us in this realm of information and advocacy for our homeowners and There is a case where a bullying residential contractor extorted money from one of our senior citizen private home dwellers [a widow] to the tune of of $82,000.00 (New York). Then, yet another case where a contracting firm ripped off a number of homeowners through not doing any of the work promised, to the cumulative sour note of $124,000 (Georgia). Think that's something, how about this? There was a contracting firm which ripped off  an untold number of people (2009-2010), never beginning or completing any work, inevitably filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy to avoid paying any of the money back, fines, and prison. Guess what it's rip off take was?  Oh ... not that much ... only about 50,000,000.00! The contracting firm was American Shingle, and the states reportedly affected are: Alabama        Florida         North Carolina Arkansas       Georgia         South Carolina Colorado       Missouri        Tennessee But, that's only "one" in perhaps thousands [or more]running wild in every state.... from state to state. This is far too overwhelming to stop.  This is especially so when we've got so many people so transfixed by all the home improvement shows and home tips, that they just don't seem to give any serious consideration to the need to be more educated against contractor scam and rip off. But, we know, in spite of it all, we can still make a difference in helping to reduce the number of victimizations.  The more the better ... and, you can make a difference, even if in the lives of one family of private home dwellers. So, if you really have the compassion for helping our private home dwellers avoid these type situations, what's stopping you? If so,  then we need your help.  We need more people to participate in our network. You don't even have to leave your home.  You can do it online. Have something to write?  Have you any advice that's useful to the mission of this network through Team Work National?  You can also participate by just by ordering the useful service products on sale through HGRB Services. Your input is needed, especially from where you are.  Will you join us in this crusade? Please, make your inquiries here: http://hgrbsproductions.com/team-work-national.php ...read more
