Capitol Hill Animal Clinic

On one visit, my vet told me that my dog had cancer, and then immediately left the room to deal with some other issue, leaving me alone with the fact that my dog had cancer. I had so many questions and could have used some answers, or at least some sympathy or comfort. And she was the main doctor. Boudreaux, I think.\t\n\t\nOn a series of unrelated visits, 2 or 3 different vets missed a spleen cancer that another vet found immediately. She said it was the size of cantaloupe (in a 25lb dog).\t\n\t\nI wouldn't doubt that the back/off-limits rooms are dirty too. It smells bad sometimes.\t\n\t\nI would strongly discourage anyone considering their services. ...read more

I am absolutely SHOCKED at some of the other reviews because I have taken my cats in to Dr. Boudreaux/Capitol Hill Animal Clinic for the past 15 years. Most recently, I had to take in my sweet old cat who has always suffered from respiratory problems and who was at death's door. Dr. Boudreaux and her staff pulled my cat through (I really thought that I was going to lose her) and I owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude. They hydrated and attended to my cat without hesitation. I cannot recommend this Vet highly enough. Incidentally, I have no more money than anyone else in this tough economy and I did not feel overcharged, especially in light of all of the trouble they went to in order to save my cat.\t\n\t\n ...read more

Brenda suggested we add another brochure and we included a brochure with coffee, cocoa and other beverages. We liked the fact that these items were made in the United States. We hosted our sale just before Christmas and people bought items to give as gifts. We had a 40% profit and had lots of help from Brenda with the publicity. This was a very successful sale for our small group and we plan to do flower bulbs and pasta in the Spring to raise travel money. ...read more
