All you need to do is go there and you'll fall in love with the people, products, and service. I went there for the shoreline parade with my daughter and I was so happy I did. It's that hole-in-the wall place where you'll find all the flowers and gifts you'll ever need, AND the best customer service. One of the lady's showed my daughter a toy duck that lights up, and I was able to make her happy without spending too much. Also, I discovered that they also do weddings and special events, so I know where to get my son's boutonnier for his school dance. Just to top it off, I live in Edmonds, and it's such a short drive to get there. *Bonus* Ladies, I'm looking forward to many more visits. My date and I were able to get a corsage and boutonniere for my High School Prom last minute. All the other local florists were not able to (and the other florists were rude about it as they literally laughed in my face). Golden Bow, however was able to customize my order (NOT give me some extra or left over one). Once I received them shortly after, they were perfect. They looked more beautiful and unique than any ones I purchased else where, they were fresh and lasted all throughout the night and till the next morning, and most importantly, the order was correct! They gave me really nice products, for an EXCELLENT student price, and I have to say this was the best customer service ever. Especially because they were swamped with other customers and orders. They really saved the day, and I couldn't be happier! They made me feel special, and they take care of each customer (whatever age or budget apparently). Golden Bow is my favorite local shop. The customer service is great, they have a wide selection of floral designs (including boutonnieres and corsages), and the bouquets I are super fresh. I even called in an order once and they did same-day delivery. I also like their candles. My favorite brands are the Woodwick and my wife prefers the Tyler candle company. Golden Bow keeps their shelves stocked, and they can also answer questions about their products. It's not only a flower and candle store, but they have lots of chocolates from local companies, teas, baby gifts, soaps, and jewelry. Today I spoke with a bride who was so distressed. The ceremony wording was very important to her and the couple wanted to write their own vows. They also were interested in having a rehearsal the day before the wedding. By the time she called me, she was downhearted. She had spoken to a number of officiants and was told that the ceremony wording was set, that they couldn't write their own vows and/or that they didn't need a rehearsal. We talked for quite a while. As I affirmed her desires regarding the ceremony, she regained her excitement and reclaimed her dreams about the wording. I could hear the "smile" return to her voice. So I thought a blog post about our approach and our beliefs was in order. We believe the ceremony is "the heart" of the wedding day. We immensely enjoy a co-creative and interactive approach to crafting the wording. We welcome couples writing their vows and any other part of the ceremony... and being involved in ways that please them. We greatly value rehearsals. And, we take great delight when we see a couple's ceremony beautifully unfold.
