John Evans Arnp

This doctor, who insists that he's top 1% in the united states...was the biggest waste of my time. I've lived my entire adult life in the city and seeing REAL specialists. Not one time have I ever been so humiliated than what this "Dr." Evans said and did. He talked to me as if he were a parent lecturing me for my so called "poor" lifestyle choices. I came to this office in search of HELP....only to leave with a stack of personality disorder papers and a hefty bill. I know I speak for others when I say that this doctor isn't a doctor...he's a headache, a waste of time and money, and someone I would ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECOMMEND and I will not stop posting my opinion on every review site...I don't want others experiencing this terrible doctor. ...read more

I had a similar situation as the previous reviewer but my outcome was different. I too was a patient of Dr. Dye's until I was transferred to John Evans, ARNP. I meet with John every 3 months for medication management. I've never had any issues with John and he's been very helpful on my road to sanity. The very next day the prescriptions were reauthorized and I didn't have to go a single day without my meds. I'm just sayin.... ...read more

I originally was a patient of Dr. Daniel Dye's until he retired in August of 2010. I then had to transfer to John Evans, ARNP. At first I was quite satisfied with my visits there. Then in February, 2011 my insurance company changed. I sent my prescriptions in to my new mail-order pharmacy, but they were having problems filling my prescriptions. They told me that they were sending John Evans faxes asking him for verification/authorization for a few of my medications. Nobody was returning their calls or faxes. Many attempts on my part were made trying to clear this up. I ended up going for 3 weeks without my medication (Metadate) and it was very traumatic for me. I couldn't concentrate, had difficulty working at my job & overall functioning was a challenge. John's office kept telling me that it was my own fault... it was a nightmare - I wouldn't recommend him to anyone who needs med management. ...read more
