Reardan is a town Lincoln County, Washington. It has a population of 608 according to the 2000 consensus. Reardan is home to a hutterite colony that settled there in 1961. Hutterites are Amish Americans that chose to live close to the land and do not particularly trust or use many modern technologies. Famous persons of the area are Joe E. Mann, a WWII veteran that died in action and a Native American novelist Sherman Alexie who wrote about living in Reardon in his young adult novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian.
