About Orient, WA
Orient is located in Ferry County, Washington. Orient was a mining town in the early 1900's. The major attraction in Orient is the Kettle River. This river is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and other water activities. Among the biggest companies in Orient are the People Place and Columbia Navigation. Area students are served by the Orient School District, which only includes one school called the Orient School. This school was built in 1910 and is one of the oldest school buildings still in use in Washington.
