I purchased a 2007 CRV that had some battery issues. They were jump starting it each day on the lot. I told them I would buy the car if they replaced the battery - which they did. Within the first hour of owning the vehicle the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light came on. Turns out that when you cut power to the car the TPMS light stays off for a short amount of time (about 20 miles). To make a long story short, they sold me a car with 3 bad tire sensors and refused to rectify the situation. So I found myself putting money into the car immediately after buying it. So.....buyer beware. If you choose to buy a car from here, I would take it to a dealership and have them run a thorough diagnostic on the vehicle before you buy it; don't expect them to be honest about things they are able to conceal. Selling me a car with three faulty sensors was a sneaky move.....but one to be expected when you buy from a used car dealership that is all about the $$$. ...read more

I have now been to your facility for two different events. The first was to purchase tires for my 2006 Ford and I found the prices to beat any other competitor. My experience then was a positive experience! The best was yet to come. I was unable to start my car one morning and I had it towed to your facility. It turns out it was bad gas and they virtually bent over backwards to get my vehicle going. They used additives and a lot of thought and my vehicle seemed to be running perfectly. I received a call from Matt at 7am the next morning to find out if it started! I would have to say I was surprised but I had not yet tried to start my car. Well, I did try to start the care about 7:30am and I called Matt back. He had a tech my wife and I to an appointment we gad scheduled and then they picked up my car and worked on it for most of the day. They had to drain most of the gas this time but it seems they have fixed the problem. They have made me so comfortable with them that I also had several other maintenance issues done by them. I would like to call out Matt and Kevin for their professionalism and assistance with this issue. My wife and I both appreciate their persistence and help. ...read more

Make informed decisions for your business and personal needs.

I am the owner and Independent Insurance Producer for Northwest Insurance Agencies in Olympia, Washington.  I am always looking for new programs that educate and help protect our clients and referrals so they may make informed decisions for their business and personal needs. An article in the January 2007 Risk&Insurance; magazine entitled " The Uninsurable Exposure" pointed out that,               "In the absense of a solid risk management plan for identity theft, the potential losses are       nearly unlimited." Just as important, new federal and state identity theft and data-security laws have been created with new compliance requirements and new liability for companies.  Those federal statues, such as FACTA and the FTC "Red Flags Rule," expose companies to potential civil and criminal liability for failing to take adequate steps to prevent identity theft.  The Red Flags Rule has a mandatory compliance date of November 1, 2009. We can provide this valuable data-security program to your company at no charge when you offer our Theft&Legal Plan benefit to your employees as an employer-paid benefit or as a payroll deducted voluntary benefit. We have implemented this important data-security program at our office in an effort to protect your sensitive data and to address the new state and federal regulations. You may contact me, Robert M. Lien, LUTCF, regarding these important services. Thank you for allowing me to be a trusted advisor.  If you have an immediate question, please contact me at :  (360) 754-2438. Social Security Planning: What consumers need to know !

10,000 consumers are turning age 62 on a daily bases.  Do they take a reduced Social Security retirement income at age 62, or full benefits at  66, or wait till age 70 to maximize their Social Security retirement income?  Every consumer approaching this age has to consider several things in determining this critical decision.  Benefits are based on the highest 35 years of earnings.  If the lifetime value of Social Security for an individual is $2,323/month + 2.8% annual COLAs: and their live 10 more years:  their would draw $353,000, if they live 20 more years: they would draw $782,000, if they live 30 more years: they would draw 1.3 Million.  The fastest growing age group in the United States are people age 85 and over.  There are 78 million baby boomers that are now approaching retirement.  The Strategies for maximizing Social Security Benefits: Strategy # 1: Build earnings credits while you can! Strategy # 2:  Win the actuarial game! Strategy # 3:  Coordinate spousal benefits! Strategy #4:  Minimize taxes on benefits! Strategy # 5: Integrate Social Security into the consumer's entire financial picture! Social Security is more complicated than people realize and the decisions made early in the process have a far-reaching impact.  The strain on Social Security personnel will increase, so working with advisors who understand Social Security will be in great demand.  Do you need help?  Let me know how I can be assistance. Got Avvo?

Got Avvo? Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King's counsel that "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," I became an attorney. His call to action was based in respect and truth. Throughout the process of becoming an attorney I uphold these principles. Before I began my criminal defense six person law office in Olympia, I had read a library full of books regarding small business ownership. Basically the information sifted into three factors: business plan, budget, and marketing plan. I started by visiting various non-legal business groups in my community to see which one might fit my values and goals. Wanting to serve my community in other ways a fellow business person invited me to join Rotary. It is with Rotary that I crystallized my vision. There is a Four-Way Test of the Things Rotarians Think, Say and Do: First, is it the truth? Second, is it fair to all concerned? Third, will it build goodwill and better friendships? And finally, the fourth, will it be beneficial to all concerned? These four tests and the commitment to achieve for justice are the foundation in how we govern our practice. Especially in its application to marketing concepts this foundation is keen. Our firm does not play games, psych other people out, and be anything but what we commit for our clients, aggressive representation with compassionate counsel for justice. Consistently we carry that view to our clients. In fact, truth and our commitment to justice is exactly what attract people to our firm. Bottom line, we deeply care for our client's outcome and will be tenacious to achieve reasonable and sometimes miraculous results. Following this connection for truthful marketing concepts, it was a client who first introduced me to AVVO. He pointed out that I had an attorney profile on www.avvo.com website and it was not claimed. I went to AVVO's site, checked it out and found it fascinating. I was drawn to the features of attorney claiming profile, client rating attorney and peer rating attorney aspects. I have been used to being rated through Martindale-Hubbell and have been an advocate to be rated as an attorney. AVVO has been a tremendous springboard in promoting access of the public to attorneys. A useful feature is that the public can ask questions for an attorney to answer. I value answering people's questions. Through the writing, it seems to help the public connect with the legal system. For most people, the legal system is convoluted and inaccessible. AVVO precipitates a bridge for the public to bring a voice that can be heard. In particular, my clients enjoy AVVO. Most of my client's are highly computer savvy. My client's tell me they use AVVO as a way to get informed and ask questions. I find that AVVO helps my client's to navigate through the haze of the judicial system and feel more secure in getting answers. AVVO assists me to be beneficial for all concern in promoting the essence of our practice. Our commitment is to our client to uphold compassionate counsel with aggressive representation towards justice. AVVO assists me to corroborate that genuineness. ...read more
