You know I had other thoughts while I was reading these reviews...like this lady cant be that bad. Well she was not that great, that I can say for sure. I went to the shop Saturday afternoon 03/24/2012 and the gentleman working was AMAZING. Had lots of info and was just very helpful over all. We were looking at buying a board, but my son had some things to work out. I decided I wanted to buy the board from Mt.Si due to the encounter from Saturday. I called this morning and talked to a female. One can only assume it was the one from the other reviews. I had a question about prices, I was only trying to find out their retail price so I would know what the price would be after the % off. I mentioned that another store had it for a higher price and I was curious. Then she got all defensive about how this other store didnt play by the rules when they started up. Then she said she wasnt going to argue with me...see the trend folks. Needless to say...that OTHER STORE got my sale and will continue as they have been soooooo helpful. The service here at the store is awesome. Everyone is willing to help you find exactly what you need without pressuring you like they would at a Zumiez store. The prices ARE cheap since thay are located in an outlet mall and I found current season items for snowboarding at cheaper prices than online which usually sells older merchandise. The owner/manager of the store is probably one of the rudest people I've ever seen working in retail. Some people are just naturally made for selling, but this lady was argumentative and irritable; not a good combination for retail. The stuff is OK, but the prices are full retail. Better to find something you like in the store, then go online to find it cheaper. I did that, and saved $85 on snowboard boots. ...read more
