About Kettle Falls, WA
Kettle Falls is in Stevens County, Washington and was named for the nearby Kettle Falls on the Columbia River which was a vital fishing location for Native Americans. The town had to be moved because of the rising waters caused by Grand Coulee Dam. According to the Chamber of Commerce, Kettle Falls is "a small town big in the heart." Three schools in the area are Kettle Falls Elementary School, Kettle Falls Middle School and Kettle Falls High School. A vast array of festivities take place each year in the Kettle Falls area including music festivals, a cider festival, tournaments and a rodeo.
