Your business's organic SEO is the foundation for everything you do online. I'm goinig to give you a few really great examples of how you can work on your ORGANIC SEARCH or SEO. The first one is very basic: Page Titles & Meta Tags If you are a business owner and a DIY'er this is a good place to start when you want to get found by more people. A page title/meta tags are not a title on a page in your website they are found on the backside of your website under the SEO component in your website editor and they are the titles that show up in blue when you searching for something online. A page title should have a keyword or a keyword phrase in it. Page Titles are usually between 50-70 characters in length. Example below: Each page title should describe what a particular webpage is about for instance if your website is about a specific brand of coffee makers and coffee maker accessories then a good home page page title might look like this:Bunn Coffee Makers | city, state code | Name Of Your Companya page title always describes whats on a particular page and these can change every so often especially in the current page title is not preforming in your local search. Second in the line-up are Meta Descriptions: Meta Descriptions go a long with Page Titles in the sense that they are in short a very brief description of a particular page on your website usually between 70-140 character long. A good tip when creating a meta description, make sure you add a keyword or keyword phrase from your page title this will help search engines google, bing & yahoo to correctly identify your page before it shows up in a search. Some examples above. Lastly number three Keywords & keyword phrases: Keywords and keyword phrases are words that best describe your business, your products and/or services but theres a little strategy to finding the right keywords or keyword phrases because the internet has been around for a while and everybody and their brother is using it for business theres a ranking factor you want to achieve so your going to have to do a little homework to find the right words that best describe what you do or have I likeUbersuggestby Niel Patel you can type in a word or phrase that you think best desribes your business and it will show you how many other people feel the same way about that particular word or phrase but it will also show you how much search volume each word or phrase is worth, "valuable" One last example to make you get the most out of this thought. Every Meta Desription and the webpage it describes should contain the keyword or keyword phrase you chose to use in the page title like this: Page Title: Bunn Coffee Makers | city, state code | Name Of Your Company Meat Description: Shop BUNN for all your commercial coffee needs.
