Ever since they fired Dan, their best chef ever, the place isn't at all the same. Dan really made this place great with his friendly smile, courteous manner and very willing to please every customer. He ran this place and really got it going. We have gone in a couple of times post-Dan and a it's cold, unfeeling place. The food isn't presented like it used to be nor does it taste good. Everything is just blah. Very blah! Don't know if owner wasn't getting enough kudos for himself or what but it's too bad. I know there are several customers who feel the same and wish Dan was back. Being a small town, there are few eating establishments in Colville, WA. I moved here almost a year ago and everytime I feel the need for a wonderful, healthy meal, other than at home, The Courthouse Cafe is my first choice.
