Why Would Someone Want To Do Network Marketing Part 2   This is a continuation of an earlier post addressing concerns about doing network marketing. For PART 1 GO HERE. In part 1 I talked about the misconception using friends to make money.   In Part 2,  I would like to talk about the idea of making friends just to sign them up. There is a common thought that network marketers are just looking for the next prospect. The 3-foot rule comes to mind. This rule states that if there is someone, including a total stranger, within three feet of you that you have to start talking to them and find an opportunity to present your business. There are many tools that network marketers have in their pocket to help get the conversation started. Many people mis-interpret these conversations as an attempt to make friends because it is not often that a person is asked to talk about themselves.
