Columbia Kids Preschool

5.0

By Michelle Yenderrozos

I'm on my second child in the Columbia Kids Preschool program, and I cannot say enough good things. Kids explore their own interests and play, and are encouraged by not only the teacher, Miss Virginia, but by the parents working right alongside. Not only do my children love this place, but I do too! So many of these families have become our friends; it's a true community of lovely people that I feel so fortunate to be a part of. And Miss Virginia has taught me so many things, including better ways to deal with my children and a way of looking at the world through their eyes. Love this place :) ...read more

Being a co-op, I have loved working with other parents and the teacher. It is great to see what my child is doing at school and be a part of it. We love this school! ...read more

Columbia Kids Preschool

I researched almost all preschools in area and this little co-op was a big winner! I was looking for preschool that would be developmentally appropriate and play based. I also wanted school that would allow parents to fully participate in their child's education. My daughter went to Columbia Kids for 2 years and she loved every moment and did thrive in this school. She never was made to learning new things - she wanted to learn new thing because learning was exciting and fun! On the last day of school she was crying because she didn't want it to be the last day - she never wanted to leave this school! If you are looking for school where you drop your child off and pick them up later - this school is not for you! If you care what's going on in a classroom, if you want to see you child grow, learn and make new friends and if you want to grow and learn alongside your child - you will find a rare gem :) ...read more
