I have been here probably 4 times now. I moved into Underhill during the summer and wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt, as it would be great to have a restaurant and bar nearby, even walking distance. However, I cannot get over its failings any longer: Price: Ludicrously priced! I have seen near ten dollar appetizers that contained two chicken tenders, or 4 tiny stuffed mushrooms. Forget getting a steak or a whole meal unless you are looking to blow a lot of money. Quality of the food: The pasta dishes I foudn to be quite excellent, however I ordered a steak and cheese and it consisted of what could only be the fat and gristle cut of of the steaks, impossible to chew or enjoy. It was insulting to be served it on my plate. Service: The final time I went we were hassled for nearly 30 minutes before being served drinks. I stopped in on my way home from Smuggs a few weeks back. I had soup and a burger. The soup was fantastic, the bread that accompanied was great. Food served piping hot, something I'm really picky about. My burger was great, service top notch. I will be returning to this establishment soon. ...read more
