I learned about Cornerstone Christian Academy a few years ago and was truly impressed on what I heard. I scheduled a tour of the school and to my surprise was amazed in what I saw and heard. The curriculum used is Abeka. The children are in uniforms. Their teachers are certified and was amazed on how they had the childrens attention. They have spanish, music and PE classes. They have morning devotion (which they have taken out of public schools) consist of prayer, scripture, songs, the pledge of alligence and pledge to the bible.. The aftercare programs are age appropriate and the children enjoy them. They have VBS during winter break and spring break and their hours are the best 6am until 7pm. If you want the best for your children, I highly recommend Cornerstone Christian Academy, Lakeridge, Va. ...read more
