Summer is heating up!
Hello again, Can you believe how quickly summer is approaching? End of school, summer vacations, family picnics, graduations, sports, camps-- let the madness begin! We are glad to see that even in the midst of all of the summer plans and events, our clients are making their hair a priority. They understand that it is improtant to pre-book their appointments now to be certain they get into the salon at the time that is best for them. The January Blahs
Well, here we are finishing up January and moving into February. But- dare I ask- how are you coming on that New Year's resolution you made? Are you just as enthusiastic and hopeful about it as you were in January 1?What better way than a new hairstyle to give yourself a fresh new look and a boost to "keep up the good work"! This is generally a slow time for the salon industry. Everyone rushed in for their holiday do's and now they don't need us for 4-6 weeks! This January has been pretty good for us compared to previous years, but we are beginning to see gaps in the schedule. Does this mean our clients have abandoned us? Not in the least! We keep a very loose appointment schedule, which means most of our clients do not pre-book their next appointment when they leave the salon. This allows them the freedom to take care of their hair according to their schedule, not ours. Hair often takes a backseat to kids' sports practices, dr. appointments, meetings at work, etc. Then you look in the mirror one day and-- "Ah!" Time to go see Scott! They hop online, book an appointment through our website, and usually get in to see us within 24-48 hours. The online scheduler allows them to visuallyseewhich appointment is best for them, and reserve that spot immediately. Many of our out-of-state clients like to pair their hair appointment with other errands they have in . Others prefer to find a time when they can come in, forget about the outside world, and just relax! E-mail confirmations and reminders make it easy to remember or reschedule at the click of the mouse. You can even upload the appointment to your Microsoft Office Calendar, directly from the confirmation notice. Rescheduling is a breeze, with no cancellation fees (24hrs notice is appreciated). The current trend in our schedule is that Saturdays fill up fast, with weekday evenings the next to go. Lunch-hour cuts are also popular.
