I saw Dr. Cummings today for an ovarian cyst and was throughly impressed! He took the time to review my tests and prescribed the proper medication to me until I could get to my OBGYN. I will defiantly go back there for future issues!! ...read more

Went to Dr. Schumann for a dry patchy lesion on my leg and to get a refill on psoriasis medicine. He looked at my leg and could not determine what the lesion was, so he gave me some steroid cream. The treatment worked and the lesion disappeared within days.\t\n\t\nWhen he asked to see the psoriasis, I told him it was located near my rear and I would have to partially disrobe to show it to him. He informed me that psoriasis cannot appear on that area and it must be something else. This seemed peculiar to me. The dermatologist that diagnosed me with psoriasis years ago showed me a medical journal with an actual photo of another person who had it in the exact same spot. Hmmmm... I asked him if he would examine the area just to make sure I hadn't been misdiagnosed. He refused to examine it and had his assistant along with one of his wife's dental assistants (his wife is a dentist in the same office building) come to look at the psoriasis. It was entirely unprofessional and I was quite appalled. I've been to many Doctors over the years to have my prescription refilled. They all examined the area THEMSELVES and had no problems doing so. Please Please do not be a victim/distraught former patient of this "professional". There are MANY sites that can assist you in making an INFORMED decision. Also, speak with patiens/former patients. I bet they did not change due to insurane changes. He is a snake/money hungry poor excuse for a doctor in a white coat. (ps: he does not even have one) Be an informed consumer !!!! ...read more
