I went to the Reston Farmer's Market to buy peaches. I explained I wanted to buy 8 bushels of peaches. They said they only had 8 left, and didn't want to sell out so early in the day, but they would sell me 6. The boxes looked small to me, but I had asked for 6 bushels, so I just took them and was glad to be getting them for a decent price. Got home and weighed them, and realized they were half-bushels. The man never once said anything about them being half-bushels, that I was only getting 3 bushels, instead of the 6 I thought I was getting. I feel like they ripped me off.
