Martha Darden's store on Laskin Road is diverse as it is pretty. She has a full lamp repair shop in the rear of the shop, that performs magic on old lamps, makes new and interesting lighting fixtures, plus an array of non-lighting tasks. I have had a piece of silver jewelry buffed to take out a bad scratch, silver and brass cleaned, shined and coated to prevent tarnish.
