This school LACKS professionalism and structure. There is NO CAFETERIA, NO SCHOOL NURSE, NO SECURITY ON CAMPUS, And NO JANITOR. The school is filthy and has rodents in the high school building. My kids have been at this La Petite Academy for only 2 months now and I have had to take them out because of their direct lazyness and attention to my childrens small medical needs. My kids have came home with unexplained bruises and I have never recieved a incident report. My son who has a food allergy was given the product he is allergic to for the two months he was there causing him to become ill. They had no reason to explain to me why his medical need was not meet after I had asked them several times if they were giving him the product he was allergic to. As a parent they always made me feel like I was to blame for their mistakes. Its not like this place is cheap either I was paying almost 1500 a month for both of my kids and they couldnt even make sure my son was getting the proper food. Small classes, dedicated teachers help each child discover their talents. I have two very different children who have attended all their lives. (I now work there too, just to be honest about it). One in college in Europe and one going to MS. Both my kids have been challenged academically, supported emotionally and have opportunities to express their compassion as well as their individual talents. Both my kids get high ratings for behavior from other adults so I know it's not a "mistake" that they were born that way! Does not cost a dime to check it out! ...read more
