I called and asked Aisha for assistance with taking out my box braids. She gave me a price of $40, which was fine. As they got started she immediately went for the scissors. I politely told her that my hair was longer than where she was planning to cut. She said okay, and 30 seconds later she went on to cut a hand full of braids at least 2 inches shorter than where I know my hair stopped (because I put the box braids in myself)...I panicked inside and decided to take one out to see if indeed she cut too short (giving her the benefit of doubt) and sure enough, my hair was hacked. Although I was very disappointed inside, I kept my composure and told her that she indeed cut my own hair and she proceeded with an attitude and walked away, mumbling something in a different language...I gathered my belongings and walked out. she never apologized or showed any remorse. It was like I done something wrong by paying attention to what she was doing to my hair.....Never again will I recommend anyone to their shop. Very unprofessional! Needless to say, I now have to figure out what to do with my hair now that half of it is shorter. ...read more

Their "color specialist" absolutely ruined my hair. I had asked for tips and the dye bled throughout my light blond hair for days. It took weeks and another haircut to get all the color out of my hair. Very disappointing. ...read more
