I recently moved to a new home. The Dynamark rep recently scheduled an orientation meeting with me a week in advance of the meeting date. I received a phone call the morning of the meeting and the rep began his pitch. When I questioned whether he would be at the meeting later in the day I was told the call WAS the meeting because they had double booked my time slot. Not a good start to any business relationship. Lightning hit my home, killing my alarm system. Called and left messages. My calls were returned and I was told a rep had come earlier the next day to repair. Requested the rep to return on friday, but they did not, and failed to call me and tell me after i told them to call me either way. This occurred on Mem Day weekend. My vacation plans were ruined and I lost my vacation having to baby sit my home. The following Saturday another alarm company did come and told me the original work was shoddy at best, the system had not been grounded and if perhaps it had been, my alarm system would not have fried during the storm. Customer Service as we all know is now history. But with a small company, I expected better, and did use their service for close to two years. NEVER AGAIN! Don't fall victim to them as I did! ADT Monitored Home Security is the best investment I ever made. I live in a gated neighborhood and lock my doors and windows, so I always thought I was safe. But when a couple of neighbors reported break ins, I decided to look for a security system. ADT had the best service and only cost around $1 per day. I even got a discount on my homeowners insurance after I installed ADT! It only took about 2 weeks for my home security system to prove its value. Someone forced entry through our back door in the middle of the night, but the alarm went off, alerting the authorities who were able to catch the criminal as he fled the scene.
