I hired this company to plan my wedding/reception and they did a fantastic job!! Because they are a full service concierge & event company, they were able to go the extra mile with the services offered for me and my wedding party. Kodak Home Office Prosper Contest
It's amazing what you come across when researching. I had not idea that we would be where we are at today from that first day of viewing the contest information. Yet, here were are: TOP 20 FINALIST to win cash and prizes! Once they make the official announcement, it will be made at http://www.entrepreneur.com/prospercontest It was truly a journey, let me be the first to admit it. I now have an appreciation for what politicians go through in building their campaigns (I say this with tongue in cheek). I turned this contest into a mini-campaign in order to get the daily votes that I needed. Not only did I post the voting link on at least 15 different websites that I am a part of, but I also created an actual marketing campaign and had several close friends involved in soliciting votes through their networks, as well. It was very exhaustive, to say the least. I took my first sigh of relief when the voting period finally closed on October 17, 2010. But you know what? All of that hard work paid off! It is truly an honor to be a part of something so wonderful that these two companies have put together simply to help small businesses breathe a little easier. The cash and prizes are absolutely phenomenal and the media exposure is, well, simply priceless. Lesson to be learned: nothing is ever handed to you. You have to go out and look for opportunities and then take the bull by the horns to make "it" happen. My favorite saying is this: Slackers do not win. And I am not a slacker! Katharine Giovanni is the queen of concierge. Simple as that. When she speaks about the concierge industry and customer service, I listen. That's why what I'm about to say means a whole lot.Katharine called me up one day and asked if she could interview me for a book she was writing. The book? Going Above and Beyond, a book about acting and thinking like a concierge by utilizing outstanding customer service skills. She dedicated a whole chapter to what I had to talk about. Mind you, she only interviewed a handful of concierge companies world-wide for her book. I was totally honored that she valued my opinion on the subject matter. Valued it enough to put it in her book!Needless to say, I have shared the book with my team members and the book was received very well. Not only did they read the book, but there are so many highlights and underlined sections in the book, I'm going to have to order another clean copy (the first one was a gift from Katharine). I opened my business in 2004. It had been a long-term goal to open my own business and after many months of planning I was able to find the right niche for my business. The concierge and event management industry is growing by leaps and bounds! The next level we are heading is the limousine and home inventory market.
