Our driver Nike, was a joy to deal with. From the airport to the city tour, he got us around to see a good portion of Manhattan including the ground zero area on 9/11. My friends and I were in NYC for the first time, and he provided great ideas and provided a ton of insightful data which made navagating the city after the ride quite easy. I have given the name of your service to all of my friends and colleagues in the hope that they can enjoy themselves as much as we did. Rate this service: Superb ...read more

Just a short note to say thank you for the wonderful tour. Its was the very best way to see all we wanted to see, and our driver made it even more enjoyable. He couldn't do enough for us, and was very informative. He was dressed and groomed impeccably which was very important as we had dressed up for our "stretch limousine" tour. His name was nike. Please thank him for us. I will definitely use your tour company when in NY again and will recommend it to anyone who will listen ...read more

A New year is Upon Us- how to Think New for Your Business...
A new year always brings us an opportunity to reflect and last year and also gives us a chance to ponder upon changes and improvements that we need to make in our personal and professional lives. Being a business owner is never easy and keeping up with everything and everybody around us requires regular efforts and a zoom lens in our hands to see everything from up close. Here are a few things to think about in the year 2011 for ourselves and our businesses. You have to do away with traditional thinking and business models. If you want to stay competitive and survive, you have to embrace the new times. All of us know the old saying, "work smarter, not harder". But now is the time to work both harder and smarter and surround your self with people who are positive and progressive thinkers and you should do the same yourself. The employees should be able to speak their mind and point out any mistakes in the operations of the company.Empower them so they can act and think like owners of the company. The employees should have the authority to think like a boss and make the right decisions and do the right thing for the company and the company's customers without waiting on you. Once a while it's possible that they don't make the right decision, be prepared to explain to them in detail why, so that they can learn from the experience and grow. Also, they should be rewarded consistently for the positive efforts that they put in the company. Be demanding from your employees but you can only do that if you're prepared to get your own hands dirty as well. Times are tough for any business and in these times customers simply expect more, and unless you can deliver better service on shorter notice, you should be prepared to kiss them goodbye. ...read more

Limousine Service Mother's Day in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia
Hello all my friends, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. We all celebrate it, take Moms to dinner, get fancy limousines, give them gifts, but do we know how it all started? Maybe this will interest you. The modern Mother's Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis as a day for each family to honor their mother, and it's now celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers. In 1912, Anna Jarvis trademarked the phrases "second Sunday in May" and "Mother's Day", and created the Mother's Day International Association. She was specific about the location of the apostrophe; it was to be a singular possessive, for each family to honor their mother, not a plural possessive commemorating all mothers in the world. Nine years after the first official Mother's Day, commercialization of the U.S. holiday became so rampant that Anna Jarvis herself became a major opponent of what the holiday had become and made her criticisms explicitly known throughout her time. She criticized the practice of purchasing greeting cards, which she saw as a sign of being too lazy to write a personal letter. She was arrested in 1948 for disturbing the peace while protesting against the commercialization of Mother's Day, and she finally said that she "wished she would have never started the day because it became so out of control ..." She spent all her inheritance and the rest of her life fighting what she saw as an abuse of the celebration. This holiday is relatively modern, being created at the start of the 20th century, and should not be confused with the early pagan and Christian traditions honoring mothers, or with the 16th century celebration of Mothering Sunday, which is also known as Mother's Day in the UK. In most countries the Mother's Day celebration is a recent holiday derived from the original US celebration. Exceptions are, for example, the Mothering Sunday holiday in the UK. There is also a school of thought claims this day emerged from a custom of mother worship in ancient Greece, which kept a festival to Cybele, a great mother of Greek gods. This festival was held around the Vernal Equinox around Asia Minor and eventually in Rome itself from the Ides of March (15 March) to 18 March. The ancient Romans also had another holiday, Matronalia, that was dedicated to Juno, though mothers were usually given gifts on this day. Mother's Day continues to this day to be one of the most commercially-successful U.S. occasions. According to the National Restaurant Association, Mother's Day is now the most popular day of the year to dine out at a restaurant in the United States. For example, according to IBISWorld, a publisher of business research, Americans will spend approximately $2.6 billion on flowers, $1.53 billion on pampering gifts—like spa treatments—and another $68 million on greeting cards. Mother's Day will generate about 7.8% of the U.S. jewelry industry's annual revenue in 2008, with custom gifts like mother's rings. All the limousine and transportation companies are busy this day for Mother’s Day Dinners and other related events.
