Hello and welcome to my blog! I am an AFLAC Associate based in Harrisonburg. I am looking to help your business DECREASE your taxes, ENHANCE your employee benefits, and INCREASE your bottom line profitability. I'm sure you've seen our commercials with the "duck", but do you really know what AFLAC is? We have nothing to do with Major Medical Ins., HMO's, PPO's, or 401(k)plans. We don't change anything, replace anything, or compete with the companies you currently do business with. I'm sure you know someone who has broken an arm or leg, needed stitches or even worse, was in an automobile accident, had cancer, had a heart attack or stroke. What is it that people need most during these hard times? CASH!!! Medical insurance is designed to pay whom? Doctors and hospitals, right? Well, AFLAC pays the family directly no matter what other insurance they may have, so they can pay their bills from home. As I'm sure you know, situations like these can destroy a family financially. Let me ask you a question. If one of your valued employees or a member of their family, was stricken with a serious illness or injury and could not work as a result, would they still receive a paycheck? If not, how will they pay their monthly bills? Will they come to you, the employer, for a loan? I'm sure they won't want to, but they may not have any other option. That's where AFLAC comes in. We pay the insured so they can use the money wherever neccesary. Another misconseption about AFLAC is that the employer has to pay a portion of the premium. That is FALSE. The employer deducts the premium from the employees payroll check each pay period. It is fully paid by the employee at a rate usually equal to less than an hours pay. If your employer does not offer AFLAC, you can still obtain your own policy directly so you can still insure your income. We offer an array of policies such as Personal Accident, Cancer, Intensive Care, Dental, Vision, Disability and many others. Please contact me for more information. I've seen too many people ruined financially because they didn't have the income they needed to survive during a family illness or injury.
