I started with ILKB as part of the 6 week challenge they were offering on Facebook. I had never tried kickboxing before and frankly wasn't sure if it was going to be a fit for me. I attended the first class, which they took it pretty easy on us, and set up my schedule for the next 6 weeks. I struggled a bit at first but the instructors were amazing and would give me helpful tips and pointers as far as placement and how to perform the exercises. During the challenge, we had to weigh in, document our meals and grocery trips. I received nothing but positive feedback and encouragement from everyone at the studio. In the course of 6 weeks, I lost 18.7% body fat (the challenge was to lose 6%)!! I have since signed up for a full membership and look forward to each and every class I attend.
