Worst place to send your loved one! My dads oxygen was "forgotten" to put on him TWICE - the first time in oxygen was at 66% from it. Then they left a walker next to his bed (he is at the facility because he cannot walk on his own and needs rehab for that) so he got disoriented in the night, used the walker to get into the hall, then fell backwards and knocked himself out. The facitlity called my mom to "make sure" my dad had a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) in place. My brother, who is a doctor, called them to see what was happening and they asked him if he wanted them to take my dad to the ER. All the while my brother could hear my father saying he wanted to go to ER! A patients request comes first! My brothers wishes (which was the ER too) don't matter if my father is telling them what he wants! He went back to this facility in the early morning. They then sent him back to the hospital for a testing appointment (that would have been cancelled had they known what happened to my dad). My dad called me after the testing at the hospital saying he was hungry (no lunch) and in pain and then he started crying. I called the man in charge, and jumped in my car heading to this facility as my dad was being transferred back. I beat the man in charge (CEO I think) to my dads room by few minutes despite my drive time. That was when I saw he did not have his oxygen (and had not since he left for the testing!). Customer service seriously SUCKS! We bought a $400 tree just after Thanksgiving. Mid-December several strands of lights went out. Can't find loose connection, so live with it till Jan. Now, Tai Pan will do nothing about it. They will give you some more lights to put on yourself! SERIOUSLY? Why do you think I bought a pre-lit tree? And, today, I can't even get them on the phone. First you go to recording hell, and then get voicemail. I have called all morning and cannot get a person. Ridiculous. So---don't buy anything here if you want it to last more than a few weeks and then are fine not getting your money back. My mother went to Crosslands after breaking her hip. Actually Crosslands was the second facility we went to. The first facility sent mom home after 20 days because her Medicare only pays in full for the first 20 days. She wasn't ready to go home and she fell again. We were very when we had to take her back to an inpatient facility following our first experience, but the staff at Crosslands were wonderful. The administrator, John Williams, even gave us his personal cell number to make help us feel more at ease. The rehab team at Crosslands was awesome and helped mom get home within about 30 days.
