The quote we were given came in at least $1,500 under other estimates. The location of our sink required us to go with a higher priced granite than the lowest priced granite that we had already decided on. In spite of the change they still stayed in the same price range. Installers were friendly and competent. They removed the old counter and sink and installed the new ones in 4 hours. Buehner Marble and Granite has the worst reputation in Salt Lake County. They are bold faced liars, have incompetent salesman, poor quality in workmanship, horrible customer service, and clowns for installers. I learned the hard way. On top of all that, they were just cited by The State Of Utah for not having a contractors license. Don't learn the hard way. Avoid them like the plague. They have the worst reputation of any granite company in the Salt Lake county area. There were six negative comments on Merchant Circle and they have been removed. They were titled 1. Under no circumstances do business with Buehner Granite. 2. Terrible service from Buehner Marble and Granite. 3.They are just liars. 4. Really horrible customer service. 5. Buenher Marble and Granite is a disaster. 6. Think twice about this offer. Their first lie is they are half priced. They lie about the bid and don,t even sign the contract. They lie and don,t install the granite you picked out. They lie and charge you for things they didn't provide. They lie and put an illegal lien on your house. They came in, took the measurements, and talked with me about different options for my kitchen and bathroom. The installers did a good job, although they smoked outside and came inside with a bit of smoke, but left with a great looking job in both the kitchen and bathroom. ...read more

Buhner Marble And Granite is a disaster. Salesman was dishonest and incompetent. Never followed thru with anything. Picked our granite, paid for it, and when they installed it they used different slabs which were full of pits and holes. The corner of the bar was cracked and could break off. The installers were clowns, They also put the wrong edge on the granite. Put the wrong color in the bathrooms and didn't follow the plan and cut the corner of the bar off. Took over 3 months to complete the job. On top of all that they put a lien on the house and turned it over to collections. They also committed fraud by billing me $450.00 for sinks which I provided. The paper work was fraudulently filled out and contract never signed. To this day 4 months later I have never seen a bill. Interestingly the company who put the lien on my property said they wouldn't pay for it either after I showed them the pictures. This company deserves a -5 star rating. Saw the tv ads starting up again so am writing this. They did my counter top. The stone is not the same quality as in the showroom. It's like it wasn't ground smooth. The installation has problems. Our granite looks fine although it was installed several weeks after it should have been. Our sink is rusting, and they didn't attatch the dishwasher however which is pretty annoying. They installed the granite in November. They were going to fix the sink after about 15 phone calls/emails at the end of March. It is now the middle of April, so I get to start my calling spree again. We, regrettably, purchased granite from them and they installed three pieces of granite on an approx 8 ft stretch when they told us it would be one piece.
