Anna Trupp LCSW

1.0

By RoryPoster

I did not have a choice in the matter of who conducted the Child Evaluation. I will tell you - that if you do, you want to RUN AWAY and not consider using Anna Truup for even one second. There are several others out there that are unbiased, fair, and do not conduct important decisions for a family in the poor manner conducted by Anna Truup. I do not go around posting like this - but I see others and I wish I had looked, or been warned. I have been through the process several times and found all the evaluators to be decent and fair for the most part, and they were professional and unbiased. Anna is not that way. In my firmest opinion, she is not the right person for this Position. RUN AWAY. Believe me... she is not who you want to have making any decisions for you, your children and your future. RUN. ...read more

She has helped me anchor to the good things in life and work through the tough things instead of letting them fester and become more than they really are. I have recommended many friends to Jane, including my husband and our marriage is stronger and happier because we do the work and let Jane help us. ...read more

Turner Boxing Academy Youth Program is designed to be a fun, safe and rewarding learning experience that offers boys and girls ages 6-17 the opportunity to become stronger mentally, physically and emotionally. Our coaches care about your kids. They care that your child learn the rewards of practice, discipline, patience, respect, and that he/she not only learn how to box safely, but that he/she carries this training over into all aspects of his/her life. Please read our Youth Program Guidelines so you can be part of the program too. Our Youth Program has four levels: Level I — Beginning Boxer Level II — Fitness Boxer Level III — Recreational Boxer Level IV — Competitive Boxer –AGES:8-34 All children start out as a Beginning Boxer and can progress through as many levels as they choose. Each boxer needs to wear workout clothes , specifically some kind of gym shoe, shorts or sweats and T-shirt. Boxers need hand wraps, and if she/he is going to spar, a mouth guard is required . Both items can be purchased at the gym. All other equipment is provided. Please be on time . We recommend the boxers arrive at the gym 15 minutes before class begins so they can change clothes and wrap their hands. No horseplay or goofing off. Boxers are in the gym to train. We encourage the parents to watch, but please no coaching from the side lines. Learning how to box is about learning to control emotions , anger in particular. We expect our boxers not to engage in verbal or physical fisticuffs at school, home or in the streets. Boxers might be asked to work on some fundamentals at home . In this case your child will bring home with her/him a printed description of what is expected. You can purchase insurance to cover your child while he/she is in the gym by registering with USA Boxing for a $45 annual fee. In the Boxing Fitness Class you will: Assume and maintain correct posture: Proper alignment is essential for boxing. You will not only learn to line up your muscles correctly, but you will become better at doing so in everyday life. Jump rope: It is not as easy as it might seem! Most everyone finds jumping rope challenging, at first. You'll get better at it. It's an excellent, rewarding exercise. Punch at a target: Punching a heavy bag or a focus mitt is great fun, an excellent all-body workout and a good way to release pent-up emotion or stress. Manipulate a speed bag: This is an exercise in rhythm and coordination. It's challenging at first, but it gets better and better! Get in shape: Medicine ball drills, plyometric exercises, punching and footwork drills get you in shape. You can expect greater stamina, muscle tone and lean muscle mass; increased energy, flexibility, and coordination; and enhanced self-confidence, strength and body-awareness. Learn how to achieve personal goals: When you work out you learn how to set goals and achieve them. This knowledge carries over into everyday life.
